Welcome to the Adelaide Hills Photography Club

Members of the Adelaide Hills Photography Club enjoy all aspects of the creative and artistic endeavor that is photography. Images may be captured on a phone, with a digital camera or with a film camera and displayed digitally or as prints. Centrally located in the Adelaide Hills at Crafers we usually meet every second and fourth Wednesday of the month (February through November) unless we have an external event planned. Our club regularly holds workshops, photo shoots, competitions and presentations on a wide range of photography related subjects.

New members are always welcome. Anyone who is interested in joining the club is encouraged to attend one of our programmed meetings to find out more about the club and club activities. There is no cost for you to attend an initial meeting. More details are available via the Membership link.

Meetings and Coming Events

  • Wednesday 13 November 2024 : Photo Shoot - Night Shoot - We will be visiting Mount Lofty Summit for an evening of City Lights and other night themes photography. Meet in the car park by 7.30pm - sunset is at 7.56pm, and last light at 8.24pm. Parking fee approx $5.00. Please refer to the November Newsletter for further details.

    Location: Mount Lofty Summit Road, Crafers, 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

  • Wednesday 27 November 2024 : Presentatation - Guest Speaker - Andy Rasheed - Andy has lived a life hinged on creativity - Andy is a photographer, musician and designer and builder of musical instruments. His photographic journey started over 30 years ago and grew into a professional career and life of making fine art. Join us as Andy walks us through his commitment to a creative pathway, finding your own voice and what is required to be fully in service of an idea.

    2025 Program - We will also be presenting and discussing our proposed program for 2025.

    Location: The Anne Jolly Hall, Epiphany Place, Crafers, at 7.30pm
